MUSEUM COUNCIL ELECTION.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
THREE MAYORS RETURNED.
The postal voting for the election of three members to represent contributing local bodies on the council of the Auckland. War Memorial Museum closed at 1 o'clock to-day. The successful candidates were: —Messrs. S. Donaldson, Mayor of Newmarket, 55; Mr. I. J. Gofdstine, Mayor of One Tree Hill, 51; Mr. H. T. Clements, Mayor of Otahulm, 36. Unsuccessful candidates in order were:—Messrs. S. W. House, 30 ; A. Milliken, 29; R. Ponier, 21; J. C. Kennie, 20; C. M. MeCullongh, IS: Platt, 15; J. Waildell and H. J. Hutchings, f> each; Cherry, S; H. 0. Baulf, K. J. Sincl and Moiintjoy, 7 each; J. Carnachan, 1; informal, 2.
