SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

THREE MAYORS RETURNED.

The postal voting for the election of three members to represent contributing local bodies on the council of the Auckland. War Memorial Museum closed at 1 o'clock to-day. The successful candidates were: —Messrs. S. Donaldson, Mayor of Newmarket, 55; Mr. I. J. Gofdstine, Mayor of One Tree Hill, 51; Mr. H. T. Clements, Mayor of Otahulm, 36. Unsuccessful candidates in order were:—Messrs. S. W. House, 30 ; A. Milliken, 29; R. Ponier, 21; J. C. Kennie, 20; C. M. MeCullongh, IS: Platt, 15; J. Waildell and H. J.
