AUCKLAND CAMERA CLUB.
A travel talk was given by Professor R. M. Algie, of the Auckland Camera Club, to -members at their last meeting. A series of lantern slides illustrating his recent tour was shown, and included among them views of ancient and modern Rome, some beautiful views of the Alps and snow around the town of Davos, in Switzerland, where the professor and Mrs. Algie went, intending to stay a fortnight, but remained three months, and a very interesting scries illustrating life, customs and economic conditions in Prague.
The competition for the. beet landscape photo-graph was judged by the vote of those present, and one produced 'by Mr. NTcllo Porter obtained Hist prize. i\« he was handicapped owing to having won the last competition, the prize was presented to Mr. G. D. Kelspy, who obtained second place. Mr. R. G. Brialley and Mr. Porter Lied lor third place.
