THEFTS FROM MOTOR CARS.
PARKED IN PRIVATE GROUNDS. A thief made a raid on a number of motor cars which were parked inside the "rounds of Mr. Charles Rhodes' residence, 90, Remuera Road, last night, and searched the vehicles for valuables while the owners were inside the house. A number of parcels, valued at £5, were stolen from the car of Mr. A. St. C. Whyte, while small articles, such as gloves and scarves, were taken from other cars.
