EX-SERVICEMEN'S REUNION
GATHERING AT TE KAUWHATA. The first reunion of ex-servicemen in To Kauwhata and surrounding districts was held in the To Kauwhata War Memorial Hall on Thursday evening, and took the form of a social and dance. There was a very huge attendance of ex-service-men and friends, and a ladies' committee composed of the following assisted with the arrangements: Mrs. .1. E. Partridge, Mrs. A. Hatfield. and Mr. C. Gower. The ex-servicemen's committee consisted of Messrs. C. Gower (A.M.R.), A. M. Gill (A.T.8.), R. H. Travels (South Africa), A. Hatfield (South Africa), and J. E. Partridge (secretary). A meeting will be held in the Te Kauwhata War Memorial Hall next Monday evening for the purpose of forming a branch of the Ex-servicemen's Association.
