GUERILLA WARFARE.
Clashes Between Japanese And Chinese. HEAVY PUNISHMENT. (Received 11 a.m.) TOKYO, June 9. Five Japanese were killed and 10 wounded when dispersing 600 Chinese bandite, who are prosecuting a guerilla warfare in Manchuria, and who attacked a Japanese munition train east of Harbin. The iight was the heaviest in the past month. The Japanese summoned armoured care from Imiempo, after which the Chinese retreated, leaving 140 dead. The Japanese defeated 1000 bandits who were attacking Hsincheng, south of Chinchow, killing and wounding 200. The Japanese claim only five casualties.
