ALL BLACK FAREWELLED.
PRESENTATION TO T. H. C. CAUGHEY. One. of Auckland's representatives in the. All Black team to tour Australia shortly, Mr. T. H. C. Caughey, was farc■wclleci at a dinner given by members of the staff of Smith and Caughey, Ltd., last evening. Mr. T. E. Gooding presided. The health of the guest of the evening was toasted by Mr. J. A. Finlayson, and that of "The"Firm," replied to by Mr. J. Marsden Caughey, by Mr. S. L. Barry. The name of "Mr. F. E. Sutherland, Auckland's sole selector, was couplcd with the Auckland Rugby Union in a toast proposed by Mr. C. W. Oram, Mr. Sutherland replying. "The Ladies" was proposed by Mr. W. Alexander. Mr. Caughey was presented with a. smoker's companion by Mr. J. Richmond, staff manager.
