SOLICITOR TO TREASURY.
TRANSFER FROM TUBLIC TRUST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. It was announced to-day that the Government had decided to create the position of Solicitor to the Treasury. It i 3 understood this appointment is in accordance with tlie practice which has been in operation in England for many years. The Public Service Commissioner accordingly notifies the appointment of Mr. G. G. Rose, solicitor to the Pubii: Trust Office as solicitor to the Treasury, Mr. Rose is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court, and graduated M.A. with honours and LL.M. at Victoria College.
