HENDERSON NEWS.
The first of a series of concert-socials in aid of tlic Henderson Presbyterian Church funds was held in the School Hall last night. The pastor, Rev. W. 11. Nicholas, presided. The musical programme was given by Mr. and Mrs. Simpson and Miss Hyani. Mr. Simpson also gave a humorous monologue and Mr. Hutchinson a Scotch recitation. Various competitions were held, the winners being Mrs. C. M. Spencer and Mr. D. McLeod.
