TRAFFIC BLOCK.
A temporary traffic block occurred in Queen Street, a chain or so up from Wyndham Street, about noon to-day. _ A large motor lorry broke an axle spring and could not be moved from the spot for about ten minutes. A number of vehicles were immediately blocked, but gradually each worked its way out. Until the lorry was removed all other vehicles were obliged to deviate from the normal carriage way on to the tram
