CHEAPER FARES.
IN TRANS-PACIFIC SERVICE. On behalf of the Oceanic Steamship Company the local agents, Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., announce a reduction of round-trip fares by the steamers Mariposa and Monterey during tho months of December, January and February. Th© special fares during those three months will be £78 first class and £56 cabin class, as against £100 10/ and £07 respectively under present rates. Tickets will be available for return for three months, but the special concession fares will have the same interchangeable arrangements as those now applying to present full-rate tickets.
