JENKINS* COMING NORTH. MEETS ELLIOTT AT DOMAIN. The Auckland Athletic Centre has finalised arrangements for a big meeting to he held at the Domain on Saturday, February 13. C. ir. Jenkins, New Zealand 220 yards champion, has accepted an invitation to appear, and 'will be matched against Alan Elliott, of Auckland. A team of nine ITawke's Bay championship winners will journey tlirdugh also, besides leading athletes from Eotorua, Cambridge and Hamilton. The cycling events will be a big attraction, as Prank Grose. New Zealand champion, will ride against Milton Gane, ■Wellington champion, while Auckland will be represented by Dwight, Foubislier, Byrnes and 11. O. Browne, who are all riding brilliantly. This will be the first big meeting at which the Manukau Club's star men will be seen in open competition. ELLERSLIE CLUB. On Monday evening a large gathering witnessed ' the opening meeting of newly-formed Ellerslio Club. Results:— 100 Yards Handicap.—First heat: Ryall 1, O'Shea 2. Second heat: Stevenson 1, Morris 2. The Fapatoetoe Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club held its iirst points meeting for (he president's trophy last evening in the I'apatoctoe Recreation Grounds.
