Her captain carries letters of goodwill from the president of the Canadian Manufacturers' Association to Mr. James MacDougall, president of the Associated Chambers of Manufacturers of Australia, and Mr. H. Gordon Bennett, president of the New South Wales Chamber of Manufacturers.

The Canadian goods on the vessel include carbon paper, tinned fish, newsprint, wrapping paper, ammunition, wooden handles, vacuum cleaners, pipes, cotton twist, wallpaper, golf tees, lumber, wire, valves, canvas shoes, drugs, range parts, and saws.
