GOOD BOUT AT WELLINGTON

ALLEY BEATS PASHA

SENSATIONALLY,

WELLINGTON, Monday

With a fall against him and his right arm temporarily crippled, Kara Pasha came out gamely to meet Tom Alley at the beginning of the sixth round" of a professional wrestling match in the Town Hall this evening.

Alley had won a fall in the preceding round with a drastic liammerlock so severe that Pasha had 'been lifted to his corner and spent the interval in considerable pain. He came out nursing his arm at the be<rinnin<r of the sixth round, but Alley went straight for it" and caught a wristlock. Pasha turned frantically to the referee and called out, "Give it to him, give it to him." The referee jumped in, separated the men, and declared Alley the -winner. The match ivas the best of the season. From the opening round both men were right out to win, and their work was splendidly recaived by the packed hall. WIN FOR PINTO. McDOUGAL BEATEN AT ' PALMERSTON". PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday. Stan Pinto defeated geotty McDougal by two falls to one in a thrilling wrestling bout this evening. Pinto secured the first fall in.the second round, McDougal ■being in a bad way. He recovered well and evened matters in the fifth when he secured a succession of head locks and a body press. The bout ended in the sixth round. McDougall threw Pjnto with a succession of four head locks, but was slow with the fifth. Pinto dumped him and obtained the deciding fall with a body press.
