SHIP'S COOK DROWNED.
FOUND FLOATING AT NAPIER.

NAPIER, Monday.
The body of William Catchpole, who was employed as cook on the Anchor Line steamer Orcpuki, was found floating in the water at the breakwater early this afternoon. Deceased was seen on deck shortly before the body was found, and seemed to be working in a normal manner. . An inquest was opened and then adjourned for inquiries.
