PARIS. July 10. Fashionable Parisiennes are wearing straw hats, designed like men's derbies, as moraine: wear, and smart skirts, with Cinderella aprons tying back pleated flounces for "at homes.'"' The most startling innovation is toeless sandals, worn without stockings, revealing crimson and enamelled toenails. at evening dances. "Bright young people"' also affect allover dye, making the whitest skin "go native." A new colour, ""cloud brae," is very popular. It is a pale grey-blue, and often is combined with "midnight blue" chiffon lor evening gowns, many of which are embroidered with diamantes, giving a starlight effect.
