WAITEMATA COUNTY.
NEW MEMBER ELECTED,
At an election held yesterday, Mr. H. Dye was chosen as the representative of the Kaukapakapa Riding on the Waitemata County Council. Mr. Dye secured 158 votes, while his only opponent, Mr. W. C. H. Stevens, received 82 votes. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Mr." A. E. Diprose.
