WAITEMATA CLUB'S YEAR.
The annual meeting of. the Waifemata Bowling Club, held on Saturday night, was largely attended. The president, Mr. l>. It. Davies, who presided, referred to the loss the club had sustained by the deaths of two of its prominent members, Messrs. E. J. Fraser and O. Paterson. The president stated that the past season had been most successful. congratulated the club on winning the first. years players championship shield. The marine pennant was also held by Waiteinata. Receipts for the past year totalled fcdJT and expenditure £401. The assets were valued at £ 1004, as against liabilities or £ s**3 The president presented the following trophies ' io' the winners of last season s competitions :—Championship I"*?" 8 ,',, "•• Blackledge, runner-up, J. Rackett, percentage fours, W. Martin, W. l>. Rowland, C. Kerry and E. Bilkey. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. D. R. Davies; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. A. Robertse)?! C.
