ADDITIONAL POLICE.
TROUBLE IN CHITTAGONG. DELHI, May 3. The Bengal Government in a proclamation states that owing to the dangerously disturbed state of certain areas in Chittagong, and to the conduct of the inhabitants, additional police 'will be quartered in 52 villages for two months, at the cost of the inhabitants.
A number of houses were raided by the police and several arrests made. ■ The curfew order, night patrols and other precautionary measures are being continued.
