SPREAD IN GERMANY. Leader Demands Return of Colonies. FANATICS WANTED. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 1 /p.m.) LONDON, May 3. The " Daily Express " special Berlin correspondent, dealing with the growth of the Hitler party, says that it has gained 38,000 new members since the election. The paper proceeds to describe an interview with Herr Hitler. The leader declared: "I do not demand restoration of Germany's 1914 frontiers but I do demand a return of the colonies." He added that every member subscribed one shilling per month to the fighting fund, the unemployed contributing 9d. "I do not want 'softies' in my movement. I want fanatics; idealists who are willing to risk all for the cause."
