ROTORUA "RELIEF" MEETING.
WAIKATO OBJECTS TO DATES
The Waikato Trotting Club, which will hold its meeting on May 16, has lodged an objection against the Ilotorua Racing Club holding its earthquake relief meeting on May \o and 10, and the objection has been upheld.
There was some idea that the Eotorua Club might apply for May 29 and 30 instead, but owing to the closeness of these dates to the Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting they also are not likely to be persevered with, so it is uncertain when tho meeting will be held.
