ROBBED WHILE ASLEEP.
MAN IN PAPAKURA HOTEL. £13 IN BANKNOTES MISSING. The sum of £13 in notes belonging to Mr. T. F. Snell, of Papakura, was removed from his clothing on Tuesday night while he was asleep in his room at the Globe Hotel, Papakura. A small quantity of tobacco was also stolen. It is believed that Mr. Snell's bedroom was entered between midnight and 5 a.m. The Papakura police were informed when the loss was discovered in the morning. Mr. Snell, who is a justice of the peace, has recently moved from Putaruru. He has been appointed coroner for Papakura and district.
