FOUND DEAD.
BODY WASHED UP ON BEACH. UNIDENTIFIED MAN. About nine o'clock this morning the body of a man aged about 40 was found by 'Constable Spellman washed up on the beach near Point Chevalier. So far it has not been identified, but a bill was found in his pocket addressed to "A. McCoy, 19, Great South Road. The man was about sft Sin in height, clean shaven, with round features, and was wearing a dark grey tweed suio, with black boots. A grey felt hat was floating near the body. An inquest will be opened before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., ooroner, probably to-morrow.
