SUNDAY AMUSEMENTS.
DEMANDS OF THE THEATRE. LONDON, March 18. Two hundred members of the House of Commons met Sir Gerald du Maurier, Mr. Leslie Henson and other members of the theatrical profession, who asked that the forthcoming Sunday amusement legislation should give the proprietors of theatres, as well as those of cinemas, the right to open their' houses on Sundays. They also asked that employees should be protected against the sevendav week. A committee was appointed to watch tlie bill.
