(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, February 12. Daniel O'Kelleher and his son Dennis, insurance agents of Sheffield, were lined £25 each for selling Irish Grand National sweep tickets. The defence contended that tile Act Constituting the Free Stats a Dominion rendered a- lottery, ipso facto, legal in Britain.
The magistrates expressed the opinion that, while recognising that the Dominions had free government, they must consider English law.

The Danzig Government has granted Brooms International Sports Association a'concession to organise sweepstakes on important horse races.
