The Prince of Wales on Friday afternoon flow to Paris in his own Moth aeropiano on the first stage of his journey to South America. He was accompanied bv Prince George. "The Royal travellers left Paris last night for Santandcr to join the liner Oropesa. An accidental'derailment of another train, near Bordeaux to-day caused considerable delay on the journey. The Oropesa was moored to the Prince's arrival, to witness which a large crowd assembled at tho docks.

The Princes boarded the liner at 9 p.m. and the vessel sailed immediately afterwards.

In the next six weeks the two Princes will travel extensively in the six chief countries of South America. They will cross the Ancles partly in a motor car and partly on mules. They will spend a day sailing on Lake Titicaca. They will go by air another 1000 miles. The Prince of Wales has taken the cinematograph camera which he used in Africa last year.

Great importance is attached to the jneouragemieht which the Royal visit will give to the great trade exhibition at Buenos Ayrcs, designed to increa?e the sale of British goods, but the "Times" describes ifc» primarily as an act of friendship toward South American countries.
