The Board of Trade returns for December, compared with December, 1929, show the imports decreased by £10,785,000, exports £19,971,000, re-exporte £2,693,000. Exports: Food and drink, £1,032,000; coal, £075,000; iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £2,407,000; machinery, £1,075,000; cotton yarns manufactures, £4,886,000; woollen manufactures, £1,-281,000; chemicals, £l,05S,000; vehicles, £1,192,000; miscellaneous manufactured articles, £1,203,000.
