KAURI GUM CONTROL.
The following nominations have been received for the election of gum producers' representatives on the Kauri Gum Control Board:—Northern district, Mr. E. McDougall, of Waihopo (sitting member), and Mr. W. Steed, of Waiharara. Southern district.. Messrs. E. J. Bellinghani, of Mangawai; F. E. Blucher, of Matakana, and P. Moisich, of Eedhill. The sitting member, Mr. K. H. Black, of Kuakaha, is not seeking re-election. All producers holding renewed licenses, that is, licenses for 1930 and 1931, arc entitled to vote. The postal ballot will close oil February 20. The successful candidates hold office for two years.
