PANORAMA INJURED.

FALLS WHILE GALLOPING. PAT'S BOY TO SPELL. CIMABUE MAY BE SENT HOME. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, Thursday. The going was again in excellent order at Trentham this morning, but only a few horses were required to go against the watch, most of them being restricted to strong -work on the tan or grass. The three-year-old filly Valrewa, by Valkyrian from the Freedom mare Hinerewa (dam of Orewa and Gold Mint), who is in J. McLaughlin's stable, was responsible for the best effort of the morning, breaking 51s for her half-mile on the grass.. She was partnered by Araemo and the three-year-old full brother to Lord Thomond, but ran right away from them down the straight, and was several lengths in front at the finish. Valrewa has had only two starts so far, but on the speed she showed this morning she should not be long in leaving the maiden class. She has been entered for the two maiden races at Otaki. Araemo was stopping very badly at the end of half a mile, but Lord Thomond's brother was doing it well after not being rushed early.

Hunting Call Well. Hunting Call was sent half a mile oil the tan and he reeled off the last three furlongs in 39s without being required to do his best. He appears to be keeping his condition well, and should not be long in making amends for his failures at Riccarton last month. Six members of T. J. Daly's team, who are to race at Hastings, left by rail this morning. In their final gallops yesterday afternoon they all acquitted themselves well. Hynanna particularly impressed by running away from Lady Pam at the end of seven furlongs in 1.33. The hurdler Panorama, who was coming nicely to hand for H. L. Kingan, met with an accident while galloping yesterday, and as a result will have to go out for a spell. It appears he slipped 011 some loose going and went down on his quarters. At first it was thought he had injured himself seriously, but examination showed that he had only ricked himself around the round bone, and will probably be able to resume work after a couple or go months in the paddock. Pat's Boy has not done too well lately, and T. J. Daly has turned him out at Upper Hutt for a few mouths. Pat's Boy raced under considerable handicap at his more recent outings, and when he resumes racing he is likely to be found doing much better than he did last season. Word has been received at Trentham that Cimabue will probably accompany Gesture when she leaves Sydney tomorrow on her return to Wellington. Cimabue had only one attack of bleeding, but one of his joints has been giving trouble since, and it is on this account that 110 is being returned.

Horses In Sydney.

King Musket and Eoyal Duke are reported from Sydney to be making satisfactory progress. Both were tohave raced at Menangle Park on Tuesday,'but as no advice lias come to hand about them,' it is assumed they were not successful. Concentrate is also doing well and will not be long in striking his best form. Panther and Type have not been sent back from Auckland as was earlier intended, but both will now remain with Historic and Lineage for the Auckland meeting. H. PritcbUrd has had advice that Mr. W.-H. Ballinger's team are in excellent order. The two-year-old Flower is doing well and it is expected she will race better at Kur.ow and Wingatui than she did at Aehburton, where she lost all chance at the start. Invite, Mr. Ballinger's other two-year-old had her trip cancelled at the last moment. She was out on the track this morning and gave an impression of having made considerable improvement as the result of her trip to Marton and Wanganui. She is growing too quickly at present to stand much racing.
