TRANSFERRED TO AUCKLAND. (By Telegrapr..—own Correspondent.), DUNEDIX. this day. Oniiortunity was taken at a meeting of the Kiwi Amatfeur Swimming Club to confer a high honour upon a former cIUD captain X. H. Bailey, who is shortly leaving for Auckland on transfer. It was resolved to make Bailey the lirst honorary Uffl member of the club, and, on behalf of the members, the senior vice-president, Mr A. Murdoch, presented Bailey with a smoker's outfit. Mr. Murdoch stated that the recipient had not only been the club iiml the Otago champion swimmer, but a groat coach, and one who Had a big influence on the junior members of the club. ■
