GLEN AFTON COLLIERIES.
MINERS RESUME ON MONDAY.
•TRAIN TRANSPORT ARRANGED.
"The men will resume operations in .the mine on .Monday,", said Mr. C. M. Richwhite, director of the Glen Afton •Collieries, : wHo for the past few' days lias been in the Waikato in connection with the dispute between the miners and the owners.
The men (remanded that a special tiairi) be put on to take' them home from work.
Mr. Richwhite said this ■ morning that an agi cement had been arrived at under which the company would work the mine double shift, wiiich would give the Railway Department a full load of coal at midnight, thus enabling the Huntly men to return by train.
