HAMILTON LADIES' CLUB. ELLIS CUP FINAL. ■" . -Che final of the Ellis Cup championship in the Hamilton Ladies' Golf Club's open -tournament was played yesterday afternoon, Mrs. T. W. Hosking (Titirangi) beating Miss V. Upham (Mirumar), 5 and 3. The Canadian foursomes were won by Mrs. Kenny, (Te Aroha), and Mrs. A. James (Hamilton), 102—26—76. Other cards were: —Mrs. C. Blundell (Te Awamutu), and Miss Fooke (Te Awamutu), -17—78; Mrs. C. Taylor (Hamilton) and Miss A. Hewitt (Cambridge), 103—25 -—78; Mrs. G. McGrahan (Te Aroha) and Miss J. Thompson (Cambridge), 100--22 —78; Mrs. C. O. Bennett (Hamilton), and Mrs G. Bartlett (Hamilton), 92—13—79. The consolation medal was won by Mrs. Marshall (Middlemore), 56—7 —49. Mrs. Mathieson (Glendowie) was second with 69—17—52, The putting competition resulted as fol—Tucsday, Miss Given. (Walton); Wednesday, Miss Fooke (Te Awamutu); Thursday, Mrs. R. Reynolds (Whangarei). The aggregate putting prize, presented by Mr. N. Bell, was won by Miss Fooke ' (Te Awamutu). The best gross score was that of Mrs. Hosking (Titirangi).

MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB,

A bogey handicap will be played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club at the One Tree Hill links to-morrow, playors to choose partners. Both morning and afternoon matches will be held on Monday, play commencing at nine o'clock.

TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB,

Members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club played an L.G.U. match yesterday, poor scores being returned. Following were the best:—Seniors: Miss M. Miller, 102— 17—85; Mrs. J. C. The captain of the Tauranga Golf Club, Mr. A. C. Anderson, has presented a trophy for competition between the lady members of the club, which will be competed for by match play on handicap.
