GREY LYNN BOWLING CLUB

There was a good attendance at the reunion social and prize-giving of the Grey Lynn Bowling Club on Wednesday. Mr. R, J. Caddy presented the club with an honours board. The improvement in the greens was remarked •on by Mr. J. M. Thomson, which he ascribed to the painstaking work of the green superintendent, Mr. L. R. G. Binns. Mr. Binns, he said, had followed carefully the advice of the Centre's Greens' Advisory Committee. — Mr. J. Hardley, past president of the Dominion Association, tendered the congratulations and greetings to the club from the association. The trophies for the various competitions were then presented. - Supper was provided by the ladies, and old-time dancing followed.
