LIGHTING WATERFRONT ROAD
LAMPS EVERY 300 FT. For the lighting of the waterfront roadway the City Council decided last night to instal 24 lamps, with 300 ft intervals between each, from Campbell's Point to Hobson- Point,, and seven, divided by the same interval, on the Gowers Point section. The lamps will have metal standards, and will be fitted with alabaster ripple glass_ globes and 250 candle-power bulbs.; The installation and annual cost, of these 31. lamps was estimated at £437. The section between Hobson Point-and Mission Bay will be lit by an additional 30 lamps of the same type, the annual cost of which is estimated at £423,
