MARKET STILL WEAK.
A further easing in the Y price of sheep skins, took place at the auction this afternoon in the' Chamber of Commerce. Dry sheep skins declined from one farthing to a ha¥-penny per pound. Salted skins *qH from 3d to '6d lower. H3des_ showed little alteration, with the exception that calf sold at slightly higher prices." Following are to-day's quotations:— Sheepskins.—"Dry: Fine erossbred, 6 a 4d per lb; half to three-quarter wool, 5%d: quarter wool, 4% d: lambs', 6d; pelts, 3%d to 4d. Salted: Best, 5/3 to 5/9 each: good, 4/6 to 5/; medium, 3/9 to 4/Hides—Heavy ox, 5%d per lb: medium, s%d;* light, 5%d; heavy cow, 4?4d; medium, Snd; light, 5%d; yearlings, 7d; best calf, 10% d; good, 3d.
