DEATH OF MALE CHILD.

POLICE INVESTIGATIONS. BIRTH IN A CITY HOTEL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. On Thursday evening a woman employed in a city hotel gave birth to a male child, which was suhsequentlv found dead under circumstances which necessitated police investigation. The coroner ordered a post-mortem examination of the infant and an inquest, which was held to-day. . After evidence of identification had been taken the inquiry was adjourned sine die.
