SYDNEY, this day,

The dispute on the Moeraki has been settled and the vessel has sailed. On the advice of the union officials a call for six men to complete the vessel's complement of firemen was answered.

Following upon the registration of the Seamen's Union a fortnight ago, firemen on the Moeraki declined to take the vessel to eea unless their dismissed members were reinstated, which the Union Steamship Company refused to do.
