A GUINEAS CANDIDATE.
ROYAL RULER WELL.
TO RACE AT PAKURANGA.
Royal Ruler, who has recently been disposed of, will have his first race as a three-year-old at the Pakuranga Hunt meeting at Ellerslie on August 2.3. He will, if all goes well, then contest the Avondale Guineas. This gelding has grown and thickened out. considerably since he last raced and is hitting out very freely in his work. He should do well during the coming season, as there is no doubt about his galloping ability, and he is one of tlie "best-looking of the progenv of Chief Ruler around these parts.
