ONE DAY OR TWO?
A. AND P. SHOW ECONOMIES. (From Our Own Correspondent.)' TAIHAPE, Wednesday. _ At the monthly meeting of the Jtangitikei A. and P. Association it was decided that owing to the economic state of the farming community show expenses should be cut down wherever possible, and with that idea in view Mr. A. W. Bicknell moved that the annual function be reduced to a one-day event. Strong opposition was voiced by some members, who contended that the present committee had not the power to pass such a resolution. Although the motion was eventually carried it is thought that the incoming committee, to be elected early in August, will probably revert to the two-day show.
