TO «POTTER ABOUT UT." OLD MAN SENTENCED. have keen sick, that's all, 5 * said William John Hamilton, aged 73, -when he was charged with being an idle arid disorderly person, with insufficient means of support, at the Police Court this morning. The police said Hamilton had riot been long out of gaol. He had no homo and no work to do, and had been hanging about the city. ° In consigning Hamilton to Mount Eden for three months, Mr. P. K. Hunt, S.M., said to him: "You will be all right up there; you have only got to potter about in the garden in the sun and do nothing."
