WHANGAREI OBSERVANCE.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Morning showers necessitated the Anzac Day celebrations being held in the Town Hall. The Mayor, Mr. W. Jones, presided and the Rev. H. T. Steele delivered a stirring address. In the march past the salute was taken by Lieut.Colonel C. J. Lo'ckie. Many wreaths wore laid on the war memorial.
