Miss E. Sinclair, of Hamilton, is on a visit of several weeks to Rotcrua. Mrs. H. J. Greenslade has returned to " Wairere," Hamilton, from a holiday spent at Tauranga. Mrs. B. Barugh, of Hawke's Bay, is the guest of the Misses Vosper, at Matamata. Mrs. Williamson, of Puketaha, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Miss G. Wyatt, of Hamilton, is on a visit to friends at Feilding. Mrs. N. Finlay, of Gordonton, is the guest of her mother at Rangiora". Miss V. Jolly, of Morrinsville, is on a .holiday visit to St. Hellier's. Miss G. Vosper has returned to Matamata from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Scott-Higginson has returned to Auckland, from a visit to Okoroire. Mrs. P. R. Seddon has returned to Hamilton from a visit to relatives in Remuera. Miss Connolly has returned to Matamata from a visit to Takapuna. , Mrs. R. D. McFarland has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Rotorua and Taupo. Miss K. Rogerson, of • Auckland, has been the guest of Mrs. W. G. Robbie, at Tauranga. Mrs. T. A. Milroy and children are spending a holiday at Paihia, Bay of Islands. Miss P. Hay, of Auckland, is on a visit to relatives in Hamilton. Mrs. Whitehouse' has returned to Hamilton, from a holiday spent at Waiwera. • Miss M. Hay, of Te Kuiti, is staying with friends in 'Hamilton. Mrs. Colin Taylor lias returned to Hamilton from a holiday trip to Kawau. Mrs. S. J. Bear, of Tirau, is on a visit to Tauranga Beach. Miss A. Prowse, of Whangarei, is spending the vacation at Matamata. Miss E. Necker, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Leo. Swales, Hamilton. Mrs. C. B. Wake and family have returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent in Auckland. Miss V. Noble, of Whakatane, is the guest "of Mrs. H. G. Wilding, Okoroire. Mrs. E. Gilbertson, of Wellington, has been staying in Hamilton. Mrs. J. C. Gray, of Hamilton, has been staying with Mrs. A. B. Meek, at Huapai. Mrs. Gordon Smith and family, of Hamilton, are away at Devonport. Miss Brown, of New Plymouth, is staying with friends in-Hamilton. Miss Drake has returned to Hamilton, after spending a holiday in New Plymouth. Mrs. Calvert has returned home to Cambridge from a motor trip- in the South Island. Miss S. MacDiarmid, of Masterton, is staying with relatives at Morrinsville. Mrs. Sawers, of Cambridge, is on a visit to her parents at Marton. Miss Penn, of Cambridge' is spending a holiday in Christchurch.

A house-warming party was held at " Claremont" on Saturday, when the time passed all too quickly with dancing •and games. The hostesses were Mrs. Griff en and Mrs. Battersby. A surprise party was thoroughly enjoyed by a number of young people at the home of Mr. J. Butler, Karapioro, Cambridge. A very pleasant hour was spent arid those present wished Mrs. Cleary a happy time in her new home in Auckland.
