SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP. 102 ENTRIES RECEIVED. One hundred and two entries have been received for the Auckland Bowline Centre's open singles championship 0 which is to be commenced on Monday December 9. The competitors will be divided into 17 sections of six and games will be played at the Epsom, Remuera Auckland, Onehunga, Dominion Road', Carlton, Mount Albert, St. Helier's and' Hillsboro greens. Keen interest Is bein* taken in the competition, which is an innovation. The draw for sections will be available to-morrow.
