WANTED TO MARRY.
ROBBED BANKS FOR FUNDS. SAN FRANCISCO, October 25. Ted Bishop -wished to marry so badly that he -was even willing to steal. He organised a crime, -which gave him a good start, but the police stopped him while he ivas on his honeymoon. With three helpers, Bishop robbed two banks on Friday, stealing a total of £2000. With his share he took the girl to San Itemo, and married her on Sunday,- but the police captured him alone on Monday morning. They cannot find his bride, whom Bishop refuses to betray.
