HAMILTON B V. WAIPA B.
MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday,
The first representative match of the season to be played on the local ground was played on Labour Day, when Hamilton B team defeated Waipa B by 18 runs on the first innings. Mutton won the toss, and sent the visitors in to bat. Hamilton wero dismissed for an even century, Hubhard (30), Wilson (17), Westwater (12), and Mills (11) reaching double figures. For Waipa. who totalled 82, Martin was top scorer with 30, Kickot (14) being the only other man to make a stand against the visitors' bowlers.
