SHIPPING NEWS.

SUSY AUCKLAND WATERFRONT LABGrE TONNAGE AT BERTHS. Even without the addition of the C'orinthic and the Ulimaroa to the arrivals pf Sunday and Labour Day, Auckland would have been a busy poit this morning. At it was the berthing accommodation was unusually well lille , and there seemed to be a general attempt to make up for the day's holiday. Discharging operations were particularly brisk, and there was a full programme for the coastal fleet. Indications are that November will open without much slackening of the pace, for the Corinthic has a big loading schedule to commence before leaving here. l'he Canadian Leader, the Kaikorai, both due to-morrow, and the Rangitiki, which arrives from London on Friday, will replace several departures. Most important among the sailings from Auckland this week is the Raranga, for London, via New York. Every effort is being made to complete her loading to-morrow, and shippers are given a reminder that the month closes the following day. ARRIVALS—YESTERDAY. Tofua, from Suva. Passengers: Mr. 11.
