TE AKOHA.
In the election of trustees to the Elstow Drainage Board, the following nominations were received, and as they do not exceed the required number, the candidates have been declared elected:—Ngatumanga Subdivision: Mr. A. E. Mikkelsen. Central: Mr. W. J. Dale. Eastern: Mr. Albert Davev Waihou: Mr. W. W. Dunn. Awaiti: Messrs' A. Carter and Mi H. Wynyard. There will be an election of one candidate Tor the Western Sub-division, those nominated being Messrs. W. J. Andrews and H. S. ■ Stembridge. For the Hungahunga Drainage Board, Messrs. F. Montague, G H. Reid, W. Hallett, and J. H. Hedley, have been declared elected. For the Manawaru Sub-division there will be a contest between Messrs. F. E. Hughes and W. H. Mathers.
