MISHAP ON "WATERFRONT.
Working on the Freeman's Bay viaduct, an Auckland Harbour Board emnloyee, Mr. Alfred Rodeers, of Bassant Avenue, Penrose, received severe bruises to the right side and cute to the hand when the staging on which he was working srave way, causing him to fall some 10 feet. He was reaching up to handle a heavy piece of timber, whpn it fell, taking the stasrinsr with it. The heavy beam, the staging and the man fell together, the man underneath everything. Mr. Rodger* was taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and after treatment at the casualty ward he was able to go to his home.
