TRUCK AND BUS COLLIDE.
A collision between , a light truck and a motor bus occurred this morning about 8.30 at the junction of Beach Road and Anzac Avenue. Nobody was seriously hurt. A'Passenger Transport bus was outward bound for Otahuhu, and was taking a wide sweep into Anzac Avenue, and the other vehicle was coming straight on into the city. The collision followed about 15 feet from the rails separating the road from the railway property. While the bus escaped comparatively lightly, the truck was considerably damaged. With the radiator crushed, the mudguard crumpled, and one lamp torn away, it had to be towed to a repair depot. A passenger in the truck, Mr. H. J. Inwood, an employee of the Post and Telegraph Department, received minor cuts and was taken to the hospital. He is not badly hurt. He is a married man aged 61, living at Gorrie's Avenue, Ml. Roskill.
