KANSAS CITY'S LAST BARROOM
The last of the old hotel bars in Kansas City has passed. The tap room of the Hotel Muehlebach was locked up recently and in a*few weeks it will be opened as a drug store. Only a few weeks ago the Hotel Savoy bar was transformed into a lunch counter. For ten years these two had struggled with the changing times. The bars and the mirrors were the same, even if the stuff coming from them was different. But that is ended now.
