The last of the old hotel bars in Kansas City has passed. The tap room of the Hotel Muehlebach was locked up recently and in a*few weeks it will be opened as a drug store. Only a few weeks ago the Hotel Savoy bar was transformed into a lunch counter. For ten years these two had struggled with the changing times.
