GIFT TO HOSPITAL.

NAPIER, this day,
Mr. Walter Shrimpton, of Matapiro station, has . donated £2000 to the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board for the purpose of erecting an upper storey on the ward for children. This is the second donation of the kind made by Mr. Shrimpton in the last five years. He was a hospital trustee till 1809, and chairman of the board from 1909-1922.
